You can use the rear stock bar. I just haven't done it.

The bar height does seem about right. Spearfish, have you looked at the thickness of the stock bar wall? Does it seem sufficient for this?

I haven't, but it's a good question. Spacing the mount locations toward the ends of the bar rather than the middle would be a good idea if possible.

I notice the Power House Amuse bar says it is reinforced at those points for mounting harnesses. The stock bar walls do seem pretty thin but may work fine, I just don't know.

I've been wondering the same thing. The stock bar's location/height seems about right for a harness. It's structural strength however is what I'm worried about.

This is what my concern is.
I have only pushed a little on the bar and not 100% sure it is attached to anything other than the plastic pieces which would be a concern.

I'm sure it's attached to more than the plastic. It is an actual structural component so it's definitely firmly bolted to the frame.

Yeah it no doubt will be bolted to the frame. It should have good rigidity when forces are placed on it laterally. But as far as forces pulling the bar outward toward the front, it might not be thick enough to withstand it.

Baker-Jackson should chime in on this, as Mothra has replaced the stock bar with the Amuse one. What is the thickness of the stock bar? Should be easy to find the part they took out and take a quick measurement.
