I like Thai better...

My window sticker showed the final assembly point as Japan and 100% Japan-made parts, so I would think they were manufactured in Japan. Whether they stay in Japan or not is beyond me.

They may move production of the other vehicles. But I believe they'd continue to build the GT-R and 370z in Japan for the sole reason of people being JDM crazy and not wanting a car built in India for quality/lineage purposes.

I read in a Nissan Sport that Nissan is thinking on moving some of their factories to the US :dunno:

Currently they are producing the Pixo in Manesar.

And this year they will start producing the March, beginning 2011 a subcompact and end 2011 the Livina in Oragadam (CHENNAI). Probably locally the cars get different names... but no 370Z's....

For QA purposes I'd prefer the plant to remain in Japan than to be turned over to India. If this ends up being anything like the off-shore software crap the US gets back from our off-shoring Info-Tech projects to India then the quality days of the Z will be a thing of the past.

With a French guy in charge of Nissan, who knows what calamity might happen... he did do a fine job approving the 370z design, though
