Is it just me, or is the SRM not perfect? It seems that whenever I use it it's not very smooth, especially when downshifting while braking. I found that I have to let the clutch out very fast to make it as smooth as possible. Most of the time I am smoother doing heal toe myself. With that being said, I still use it most of the time. Sometimes I turn it off just to do something different I guess.

It's a great feature, no doubt. That said, I will probably avoid using it for the sole reason of keeping my driving skills in line.
I am sure if I rely on this all the time, I will start to completely suck at driving other manual cars. Can you imagine accidently relasing the clutch like that in a car without SRM during spirited driving? I assure you it will be a VERY embarassing (and potentially dangerous) experience. |
