i blip the throttle myself, it was nerve wrecking to see 5k during break in period. its just a matter of getting used to it, not saying it is a bad thing. it just feels weird

You can turn it off during the break in period and it will stay off, great thing about SRM is when you turn the car off it remembers the setting.
