What a d*ckhead. Not just for refusing your purchase but for totally making his salesperson look bad. Hope number 3 comes through.

The dealerships in some regions cannot accept VPP on 40ths.. my salesman showed me an e-mail from his regional nissan rep clearly stating that they were instructed not to accept VPP on 40ths. However, ive read many forums members have gotten VPP or better on 40ths so you should go ahead and keep trying..good luck

Well, I just got back from the Nissan dealer and I was trying to use the VPP. I had called earlier to make sure they accepted VPP's and I was told that they did. So i got to the dealership and asked for the 40th edition, we were working through the paperwork by this time an hour had already passed and the sales manager came by and looked it over, then she went to the GM to get final approval and he said no to the VPP. I was furious at this point and walked out... The best excuse was that they could try to give me a deal. I was serious about purchasing my dad was there too... So as we were leaving the salesman came out to apologize and he said "I hope there is no bad blood between us" I said of course not cuz it wasn't his fault. I understand no VPP on a GTR cuz its expensive and rare but I have already seen people get it on the 40th on this forum. I am 20 and will be 21 here in a month, just for reference

Money talks. I'm just a little older than you and at this stage of the game they should of realized you were serious. I'd find another dealership, its not like you are looking for a 1 in a million car.

I dont think it was an age thing as they had probably already checked his credit and all, it must have been something like they want full $$$$$ on the 40th so they said no. An individual shop thing more likely.

They didn't even run the credit, my dad's credit is 700+ so its not a problem

PM me with which dealer and salesperson. The guy I worked with was no hassle.

(I'm actually West Chester, but close enough)

You're going to love this car.
