But with nothing more than a slight HP boost, the 370Z will take the camaro in all performance catagories. It will already out-handle, out break, out corner, etc. As far as where to improve the 370Z, adding a bit of power is the best way for nissan to leverage the rest of the car's stunning performance. I agree about different cost catagories (for instance, the vette is probably the best bang for the buck performancewise if you step up to the 50K range), but the Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger are already in the same price area. If you can match their straight line speed and dominate in all other catagories, you get to win every internet argument with their owners!

Just a nit.... but how about a different design on the fuel gauge. Those LEDs just don't do it for me.

-Definitely the LED of the Fuel Gauge needs to be changed.
-Take out that ugly looking Butthole
-More stock HP
-Cool seats as an option? (Kind of like the Lexus IS)
-Bigger Glove Boxes
-Add a Sunglass Pocket on the roof? (for people that have the NAV pkg)

I love the car either way, with/without these changes.

Nissan is going to make the Z instruments “configurable” as on the Nissan GT-R.

We'll I think Nissan did an excllent job overall refining the entire car

But to add to the list:

1. Seat/Mirror setting memory so when the wifey drives I don't have to get pissed off while hunting for my seat position. I would have gone with the touring package if they offered memory.

2. T-Tops. The Z34 roof line i think this becomes a realistic option (minus the airbags)

Things I'd like to see?

1. A decrease in weight by 100kgs, with no loss in rigidity.
2. Just tastefully improve the interior just a little bit, pretty good as is but.
3. Smooth out the motor and generate a stirring exhaust tone.
4. Change the DVD based sat nav to HDD.
5. Fix the track only related engine oil cooling problems and if the price needs to increase, so be it. NOTE, NISSAN IS NOT THE ONLY CAR MANUFACTURER TO HAVE PROBLEMS ON THE TRACK. BMW, MERCEDES ETC HAVE ALL HAD PROBLEMS ON TRACK, JUST CHECK OUT THEIR FORUMS. The Zed is a mighty machine in many ways and to be tracked just requires some basic mods.
6. A slight increase in torque would also be good, say to 380nm.

Get that Aux port off the faceplate of the head unit and stow it away in a less visible place where it and the iPod can be heard and not seen. I don't like that iPod cable and iPod stretched all over the place or hanging in the center cup holder with the cable so visible. My pet peeve---glad that's my biggest gripe about my wonderful new car! Same set up in my Altima coupe---same gripe.

Oh yea, definitely the Exhaust tone, the 350Z was great, but the 370z engine noise does sound like a truck like most reviews critic said.
