No beep?

I got my first oil change at a local Nissan dealership here. I'm not sure if they caused this issue or not because I just noticed a little while ago.

Default No beep?

I got my first oil change at a local Nissan dealership here. I'm not sure if they caused this issue or not because I just noticed a little while ago. When using the key fob to lock the doors the horn no longer sounds but the the lights flash and car does indeed lock. And when unlocking via key fob or the little button on the handle the car no longer does the beep noise. What could have caused that and how does one fix it?

Hold the lock and unlock button together for about 5 seconds, the lights on the car will flash and will change back to the beeping mode (which i find annoying)

This must have been one of those sat on my key fob things. I've already rolled down my windows accidentally at least three times. Thanks for the info.

Good to know how to turn it off on the fob. I've been using the door buttons for "quiet mode" and the fob for "honk my horn to inform everyone around me my car is secure mode".

Thanks!

Same here. And no way would I turn off the horn. At my age I need that beep to find my car in large parking lots.

I think it's time for 50 or older Z owners to "band together," as have the ladies, and show our numbers! I'm starting a separate thread for this.

I agree, that horn beeping thing annoys me as well. That was one of the 1st things that I changed!
