-CLUTCH CLUNK-
When going from first to second gear, if I haven't got the revs up to around 3k or above, when I depress the clutch to go to second it makes a very distinctive clunk sound. It only does it from first to second, and only if the rpms are low. I can also get it to surface if I'm in first going slowly in a parking lot and depress the clutch, I'll here it then too.
Anyone else experiencing this????
I've noticed the same thing. I only notice it in the parking lot because thats the only time when i shift into second so early (cant stand the whine of first gear...) when you shift into second make sure your foot is all the way off the gas and you have to wait a second from foot off of gas to clutch in. Otherwise it will make that clunk every time.

Which reminds me, anyone else annoyed by how loud first gear is? Sounds like im going in reverse too fast or something... oh and another thing, there is a certain rpm range where if i shift into 5th gear even if the clutch is to the floor it grinds... Im driving along going shift into 5th and

My biggest complaint on the 370z is addictive.

And this situation on the 370z is much 'worse' than on the 350z.

On long drives. Like 3 hours plus the bottom seat side bolsters get pain full. And I'm not a large guy by any means. 6'1 and 195lbs so I'm fairly proportionate. I get out and walk around but still. That, road noise compared to the 370z and the paint chipping in the front. That's it. Everything else is great.

I have no complaints. I knew about the road noise before i bought it (that's why my tires are filled with KY gel, to absorb the noise). It is a sports car, so forget about comfort (i had an 08 nismo model). Blind spots? what blind spots? I just switch lanes and whoever is next to me will get out unconditionally so I can overtake their lane. Trunk space? I always pack lightly. The clutch noise, I just removed the clutch. If the seat start to feel to hard on my butt, that is an indication that I need to shed some weight. For the paint (rock) chips, I decided not to drive it at all, I can't afford duct tape to cover rock chips anymore. I can go on all day long.
In all, I researched the vehicle before I pulled the trigger, so I knew what to expect (as mentioned before, not my 1st Z).
For those of you thinking about a new car, do the homework first and then If you think you can deal with it the way it comes then jump on it.
In reality I have one or maybe two complaints. Really, the nismo don't come with the premium sound package and my SES light comes on every 300 miles.

I just tracked my car Monday at Thunderhill, Willows, CA and I have and oil cooler (exactly like Modshack's build) It was on a Cold day ~50 degrees and not even after 15 mins in the first session the car not only crap out by putting it in a limp mode, it completely shut down and won't start up before oil temp even reached past 220 degrees. I had to tow the car all the way back home as I tried everything to start it up. Plugged a diagnostic tool in, no error code. The yellow service required light went on when it happened but afterwards when i try restarting the car it just kept spitting when I cranked the car. I spent the whole day dry cranking the car to air out the fuel from the flooded engine, no luck, the car didn't recover till 2 days later. So, I really don't know what my oil cooler did for me. Any advise? I've heard some people don't even get put into limp mode at 240 degrees. Astor me, I didn't even get a limp mode, all I got was an improper shut down. The left LCD started flickering and it was almost like Fast and Furious 2 when the skyline got shot with a Emp electric gun. =\

For me the things that are a little irritating are:

Blind spots
No steering wheel adjuster/ seat height....no...I refuse to use a cushion!
No postcode settings on Sat Nav

Apart from those minor details I LOVE my Zed

My only complaint is that I love driving the Z so much I already have 23k miles on it in the first year I owned it.

I try not to complain too much because sensitive 370z owners might take it to heart.

My major complaint is that we got ripped off by not having a rear wiper like the Z33 had. Yes international 370Z have rear wipers but USDM don't

Meh, overrated.

Just drive faster or do like I do and don't even look out the rear window. Pointless anyways.
