OK -- I thought there was a significant difference in color between the USDM and global offerings.

The next interesting question is if just the lens cover can be replaced or if the whole unit has to be swapped.

I feel like I'm problem solving this for the aftermarket!! Someone send me some royalties when you start making kits for this!!!! :tiphat:

Ok... So my thoughts are that the entire system is there without the on/off switch. So wiring an on/off switch shouldn't be an issue. I bet even the relay is there.

If that's true (and it may well be); the more difficult part will probably be finding the wiring termination point (I would imagine it's somewhere in the steering column or it could even be up through the existing stalk on the column if that's where it would generally be turned on).

I would also think that the bulb will have to be purchased but who knows...until on of us actually takes the unit apart we won't know! :)
