1) The evo is NOT twin turbo.

2) A Stock STI's Powerband is from around 2300 to 5000RPM, it does not run out of breath by 4000RPM.

3) Evo's and STI's have very very short gearing. I, for example have an STI, and on the highway 80mph means 35-3700RPM in 6th. Also the fact that it has a small turbo for response means that the turbo can't flow enough CFM to make big power on the top end means that it is NOT a top end highway run car.

4) STI's advertise 300hp when in reality they make around 230WHP stock. There is a BIG drivetrain loss.

5) G37 Should keep up with an STI stock for stock, but at stage two, it will not.

I am shocked about the authority with which some of you speak when you don't know enough to make accurate statements.

As far as racing cobalts...come on lol..a cobalt? Were you really that surprised?

Wow, that's got to be at least 50 miles per day. Definitely no garage queen!

all good points.. and yes having owned a stage two STI i would never say that.. but thats not even close to a fair comparison.. and while it is a cobalt.. you cant diss them to much.. its a fast car for the money.. just like the SRT-4

Ya, I wouldn't get all excited about taking out a Colbalt SS. That's like a mid day snack for my Z. Just to keep me going until dinner.

I wouldn't even waste the gas. Someone driving one of those will blow by you well after you hit the brakes and brag to his friends later how he took you ;]
