I feel your pain, if you have trouble finding one in LA you must imagine searching Philly, I found one Monty Blue but with all the extras it was like $35,500

That's true, I made the comment assuming everyone had a free weekend to spare. Reviewing on Car.com and other websites took like 3 hours. I flew out Friday evening and drove home Saturday. If you have a weekend I can promise shopping around will save you money, get you your exact car, or if you get lucky like I did then maybe even both!

Saved around $3000.00

Hotel was about 45.00
Air one way was 110.00
gas back was about 100-150

Regardless it was worth my time for sure.

I'm in the same market as you are, looking for PG Manual with SPRT PKG, but I want Touring though haha. Put it in a order for one if you can't find it. Good luck with you finding your car! Maybe we can meet up in future for like car runs or something since you live in LA.

I started my search last year Apr 1. Gave deposit and no dealer could locate one. They GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK! I searched around on my own but I knew it would be luck of the draw. I was contemplating flying out to Fusz but that's when my fate bug kicked in and told me that if it's that hard to find one there's a reason. Over the year I searched off and on, I wasn't hard up for it once summer was almost over and just last Thurs during a blizzard here, I started checking dealer inventory on nissans website. By chance there was an 09 PG 6spd with Sport in PA (Montgomeryville Nissan). I called them up, hoping it was really still there. Sure enough it was! Picked her up Tues night! I'd say if you're hard pressed to have it for summer, just put an order in now. Then again, you're in LA so you won't have to worry about snow Bottom line is it depends on how bad you want the car and what you're willing to do to get it. I was not that hard pressed to get one if it wasn't somewhat local so I didn't have a problem waiting. Good luck on your search. And when you finally get it, you still won't believe you got it!

To the guys who searched nationally, how did you do that? I tried Google for the body code and exterior color, spent several hours searching dealer inventories, but it was haphazard, slow, and for reasons only Google understands, certain dealers keep coming up, and nothing from thousands of other dealers. My dealer says he's looking??? Most frustrating was several dealers leave off key info like interior color, and most don't list options. I'd rather not wait until June, and Roberts VPP expires on 3/31.

Heres how I look at car buying.. dont be afraid to look at stealerships out of town, or even out of state. Get pre approved for a loan, buy a one way ticket, fly there, drive it home, its just that simple. I GUARANTEE someone in this country has the exact car/color/trim you want buddy.

I used the Nissan car finder, but it only allows you to go 100 miles from your zip code. That gave me three pages of dealers, no hits. Mostly automatics. Did you guys start plugging in distant zip codes?

370's are pretty rare here in Australia still. Our major carsales website only has 8 available in my entire state, new and used combined. I haven't actually seen another 370 on the road yet.

1) the RRP here new is about $81k AUD
2) they have only been out for 9 months
3) flying out and driving back isn't practical as it's like a 4-5hr flight interstate.

I was after Carbon Silver but couldn't find one, settled for Brilliant Silver.

A positive point here though is that we only have 1 model available which is all inclusive (sports/audio/nav), 6MT and 7AT of course. So there isn't a even a choice of options, it's everything or no car at all!

Well that happened to me too. Keep looking, you will probably will have to go out of your area to find one.

Definitely not a problem here in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. The larger dealerships in my area have 6-8. I was at the dealership a couple of weeks ago for my first oil change and I counted six on the lot and three more in the back.

Due to a lot of states being seasonal, Nissan has decided to hold Z inventory until April- May. You will see a big influx of Z units in mid May.
