NOPE... don't try to reverse psychology yourself. I see a VW Beetle in your future.

I'm going to go with a purple Scion TC:icon17:

Ugh... Even yellow doesn't work on that thing. And by "thing" I don't really mean "thing", I mean "beatle" which most people don't even know that that's what a "bug" is really called.

Now if it had those cute little daisy flower hubcaps on it... well then we might have something!

I honestly do not understand why anyone would ever want one of those.

If your friends call you a bitch just challenge em to a race. Its like my brother in law laughs at me cuz I carry a 21 shot 9mm on my waist and a 8shot .32 in my pocket. (Both inox italian berettas) According to him. Neither pistol have no stopping power. He thinks "if the caliber doesn't have a 4 or more. Its not worth comin out your bore." I told him "take 40 paces and let me shoot you with my .32." After I said that he stopped laughin and said. "I don't mean it like that, I'm sure it can kill me." Same thing goes with the sh1ttalkers of the 7a/t. ;)
So let em talk, I bet they can't show and prove though...

Other than that. I say either tranny is hot. That 7at in paddle mode is a crazy good auto. Its not like driving and auto rx8 or auto GTO. The 7at kicks serious azz.!! Test drive the 7at. You will be impressed. The 6M, well you know the drill. Less precise shifts but your fun factor may increase some. It just depends what your expectations are from the car.

easy decision.

I live and commute in big cities with lots of traffic, so i have an AT.

If i live in the surbs, i would get a MT.

Pushing_Tin 03-01-2010 11:15 PM

I have sport/touring with the 6MT. I have a 15 mile commute through twisty country roads and have never regretted it. If I lived in the city and rarely got to really drive the car I would have opted for the 7AT.

NewlyIMPORTed 03-01-2010 11:18 PM

i live in a very populated area and I get in traffic all the time and I never regret having a 6MT

phelan 03-01-2010 11:20 PM

i live in california where it's hell on the roads, and i still love every shift of my 6mt :D

Many(including myself) dont consider going up against someone who just has to step on the gas a race. I tell that to my friend who drives an auto 350 and he is on the verge of tears every time lol.

Unless it is on a twisty course somewhere it is just an e(a?)-peen contest either way. It really will come down to the car most of the time in that sort of situation -- unless you are driving the exact same car/setup or something.
