I do not think prices will go up anytime soon. Would be shocked if they went up in the summer as well. Cars are not selling. Would be suicide to raise prices. I think they are just using normal scare tactics to attempt for an immediate sale.

But, could be wrong obviously.

I don't think you are wrong. This "spendulus" package isn't going to do much for the economy to warrant a dramatic raise in car sales. The dealers here tried to pull the same crap on me until I said, "Either you take my sale now, or I walk away and go to someone that wants my money."

Funny enough, they were shortly after. hahahahahaha

I don't care for convertibles. If you flip the car, you get one hell of a hair cut. Plus someone can take a knife to it. The price difference alone would buy a lot of mods!

I had an S2000 years ago. That was my first, and last, soft-top convertible. Some a-hole flipped his lit cigarette butt out his window, and it landed on my top, got wedged, and melted a hole through the top. Not the car's fault, obviously, but it did serve to highlight one of the added risks of owning a soft-top convertible.

A Targa top is the best option ... I think it would of been a better way to go for Nissan than the soft top.
I also had a S2000 for 6 years and was always concerned about the top getting torn, even though it never happened I always feared leaving it parked alone and damage happening from some Idiot or the Sun drying out the top.
But loved it while driving.
I like the C6 option for the Targa or the 370Z coupe as my next summer car.
