Still can't find any 2010 Coupe 6MT Touring with Sport and Nav that's either Platinum Graphite, White or Red in Texas. My dealer thought he found a red one but it turned out to be a 7AT model. He sent me the pricing but didn't break it down by option:
Vehicle Price: $42,330.00 Preferred Customer Discount: -$5,111.93 Selling Price: $37,218.07 Although I want Nav, I'm skeptical that I'll find one in the color I like by the end of March. Even just 6MT Touring with Sport packages are hard to come by and non in the colors I want. Supposedly there are 40th Anniversary coupes coming in a week or two. That might be my only recourse here. Anyone know any dealers out there that have 2010 6MT Coupe Touring with Sport and Nav? |

Also, I worked up this Excel spreadsheet today - it just has 2010 Coupe's in it (and no 40th Anniversary option) but I could expand it out a bit if folks find it helpful. I just used it to build your option - not sure where that $42,330 price is coming from - I see a sticker of $40,140 (without Destination & Handling charges) and a cost somewhere between $35,397 and $36,203 before any other dealer fees. I suppose he/she could be adding in the $720 destination fee and giving you the final cost including taxes, title, and tags. If its $37,218 out-the-door, then that's pretty good. Good Luck! |
Am I wrong that we board members, who do not work for a Nissan affiliate, and are requesting a VPP claim check from Robert are classified as plan D? I am confused as everyone seems to be talking about the A/B category discounts.

There are companies that are affiliated with Nissan that can take advantage of the VPP program and I believe that the discounts they get are essentially the same except, perhaps, for actual Nissan employees. The difference with this current promotion is that I can give claim numbers that give the exact same discount that I can get walking into a showroom and buying a vehicle. The "Plan" lettering can be confusing but what's important is the discount received. :) By the way...I did get a bit behind but am working to catch up on everyone's request tonight (Saturday 2/27)...if you've requested a VPP number and haven't heard back from me sometime tonight please contact me again. Thanks to everyone...the response has be great! |
i went in today to several dealerships with my vpp, and no one seems to be able to find a 2010 base+sport (solid red) for me. =( im in dfw area and the only one they found was in mississippi.
they also said if i were to order one, it could take up to 3 months, now if i sign a deal with them using vpp now to get the car ordered, would it void itself out if the car really takes 3 months to get in and not before march 31st?? or am i not allowed to sign a deal using vpp until the car arrives? it seems like im the only one with this issue. they also found me a 2009 solid red base+sport that is slightly used, 400 miles, they were willing to sell it for 29,500. i thought that price was ridiculous. |

Wonder how far away these dealers do searches for? There's a Red 6MT with Sport near me in Clearwater, FL. Given they want to charge everyone $720 for destination they should be willing to go and get you that car no matter how far away it is. Really strange. |
I'm assuming the VPP number can only be used when the car actually arrives and will probably be void past march 31st. I'd rather not take a chance and will most likely have to settle on something if my dealer can't get the car I'm looking for.
Why can't they get you the car from Mississippi? my dealer in houston said he's looking as far as kansas city, MO. I'm going to ask him about that car in miami that LinPark found. I kind of doubt he'll go through the trouble of getting it from that far but we'll see. My fall back car will probably be either a Mont. Blue one fully loaded or 40th Anniv. Unless a new shipment magically appears in the next 3 weeks with the car I want... which could be possible as I'm not sure the accuracy of the inventory system. |

Thanks again Robert!! Worked like a charm yesterday when I went into the dealer to take delivery. I gave them the VPP papers and no problem at all! They also had a 1k rebate if you owned a registered Toyota in the household. Cost of my car was 30,126 (base + sport, 6spd). Minus 1k for the Toyota rebate so before anything other fees the car was 29,126 + doc + reg + tax. 32.8k out the door w/ 3M clear bra! I am VERY HAPPY!!! can't wait to go to some meets this summer in the Jersey area!

Hi - I went to Hackensack Nissan in NJ. I'm not sure how long that Toyota rebate is good for though it might have been only through the end of Feb. I'm not sure if the Scion's count.
