Vanity Plates? Anyone

MD and VA are pretty lax on plates for the most part. There's a guy running around in a blue ISF with "IL SMO Q" plates, so clearly no issues with references to racing, etc.

I just don't like the idea of having a tag with that context myself cause you know one day you'll be at the line somewhere and some fuker with a CRX with a turbo the size of a refrigerator will pull up next to you and smoke you... (Literally and Figuratively... since they never take care of their engines

Yeah, that may or may not have happened to a gentleman in a blue ISF, except with an s2000 with a turbo that was only about the size of a mini fridge.
