Default Zymol Especially for Our Japanese Car

E-mail received from Zmol in response to my inquiry for their wax for Z's.

Zymol makes a wax specially for Japanese paint. The product is called Japon. I have attached a link where you may view this wax.

ZYMOL JAPON WAX 8 oz

Remember that you must apply our HD Cleanse (pre wax cleaner) which removes all previous waxes, light scratches and minor oxidation. This step is necessary because our products being all natural will not properly bond with the vehicle paint on top of any product that may contain petroleum distillates or silicone.

According to their own description it is just 37% Carnauba wax cut up with some other oils.

If you want a super expensive wax for no reason then get this stuff.

Pffsshh - I've already got two layers of Zymol Vintage and the third is going on around May (twice a year). 61% carnuba. $200 wax job. That'll do!!

You're recommending it I guess. I'd like to see a picture if your freshly waxed car.

Thumbs up

Zymol's Japon has been around for some time now. Good stuff, and you cannot go wrong with it. If you really want to see how the pros do it, and if you want to engage in detailing yourself (warning: detailing can become habitual and expensive) here is a great site: Detailing Bliss

Also, Paul Dalton is considered one of the world's top detailers. Here's his site : Miracle Detail

P.S. Paul is member of Detailing Bliss and occasionally has someone post for him there. Also, I am somewhat surprised that we do not any detailing vendors signed-on here.
