I want a RSTT so bad, but I just can't justify the Audi tax. Not worth the money.

hey come on guys, some people judge cars on looks and things other than pure handling and performance. Yes we all know the main target market for the Z is not for these reviewers but there is enough there to lure those buyers as well. It's actually interesting to see what chicks think of the car, i mean you don't always impress them by flooring the tits off the car when they're riding with you.

I thought they were completely neutral! One chick likes the Z better and one like the TT better. They also admitted that it was under unusual conditions. The TTRS is handsdown a better car but you paying for it!! Bigtime! A spaceframe chassis, haldex drivetrain, with magnetic dampening suspension and adaptive bi-xenons and RS brakes, RS Recaro Seats, and Audi's DIS cluster and Fine R8 interior...etc, etc...
The Z doesn't stand a chance...except for bang for the buck! That's why I drive a Z!

i am surprised that you guys are so loyal to the brand.

i like both cars and since i already have a nissan, the audi seems very nice.
you know what they say, the grass is greener on the other side

Has nothing to do with loyal - has to do with the absurd comparison between the two. The Audi is very nice - love the seats, etc but there is just no comparing the two - a RWD and an AWD in the snow - dumb. But it's not like they are profesional drivers - just a couple of random people off the street. What pro driver hooks their fingers around the spokes on the steering wheel....

As a driver of a 370z I can only compare it to the brief 15 minutes i had in the TT. But something (not sure what it was) made me pick the Nissan so probably am a little loyal!

one of the women said she preferred the tt because it had a back seat. i picked the 370z because it was a 2 seater. to me, a "real" sports car should only have 2 seats

Well there are acouple of us that have had the Audi TTs and can do a fair comparison. I had the MK1 and MK2 Audi TT and where the Z was faster than both of those, they had the edge in refinement. Now the new TTS and TTRS are just as fast and faster then the Z and still have the edge in refinement, but also cost more (TTS $43K and TTRS isnt even in the states yet and may not get here but if it does prolly around $60K). But if you were to put the things that refine the Audi into the Z it would cost just as much or more too. The DSG, Quattro, turbo, magnetic ride, aluminum frame and interior refinement cost money. But make no doubt the TTS and TTRS even with the backseat is a true sports car. I know how some feel about back seats not being a sports car cuz I kinda feel the same about 4 door cars that say they are a sports car. To me a sports car is a 2 door car. I loved my TTs and I love the Z but each for different reasons other than the speed factor.

Wow, at 15k more than the tts, that would put it about 73-74k. That's ABOVE the bmw m3!!!!!!!!!! why would anyone pass on the m3 to get this overpriced chick car?
