Actually, drug runners used to do this in the late 80's up and down alligator alley in Florida. So it is not that far fetched.

Sounds like someone read Alex Roy's The Driver: My Dangerous Pursuit of Speed and Truth in the Outlaw Racing World... Makes for a great read, but definitely NOT something to try and replicate.
By the way, if you wanted a stealth car, the 370z was probably not the smartest platform to start with. Please just take your car to the track occasionally if you want to blow off a little steam, instead of setting yourself up to be the lead story on the local news. Please. S.

i'm surprised no one has brought up retrofitting the Z with a smoke screen or oil slicks anyways, stealth mode is for the weak..when i traffic millions of dollars of drugs, i like to take the brute force approach and take my nuclear powered armored mech...as you can see i just got 4-point racing seats installed

...hey wait a minute who's making that noise!!!???There are actually several uses the IR camera can perform. If you are travelling at night on roads that are not lite it can help prevent hitting dear etc provided it's used in addition to headlights; and it can show debris in the road long before you reach it. Just because you're paranoid DOESN'T mean they aren't watching you!!! |

I mean, regardless of how fast I drive, I don't worry much about the increase of police surveillance...if anything, I'm actually glad for that. It eliminates the truly wreckless drivers... it sounds like the CLOSEST thing to legal that this setup can be used for is if you plan to ILLEGALLY street race, and need to really get away and camouflage yourself. Again, I said "CLOSEST TO LEGAL", I did NOT say legal...cuz I can't think of anything more legal to that... and that Stealth R8, I mean seriously, did he really buy a $100,000 car to run from the cops? I can't really think of anything good that could come from it...and it's very obvious that the owner is no outstanding law-abiding citizen to be hiding behind the camera.... I can understand spending a little money to save your *ss once in awhile when you decide to do a little spirited driving, but to transform an entire car into an F-117 on 4 wheels, I'm sure Boeing can make you a little sum sum...
