how many miles for the 1st oil change?

Just changed my oil to 5w30 Redline today, my Z has 2,500 miles on it. The quart of Redline stated it's not for engine break in and recommended using it

The quart of Redline stated it's not for engine break in and recommended using it after 3,000 miles, didn't actually notice the label till after I changed it.
