Has anyone dissembled the instrument cluster

I have been converting the silver pieces in my '11 NISMO with the OEM '15+ NISMO dark gray interior pieces. The only part left is the instrument cluster.

Does anyone know if the silver trim piece around the fuel gauge/temp gauge is actually removable? I know the main trim piece can be swapped but I can't determine for sure that the fuel/temp gauge comes off to be swapped.

I went to Nissan and evidently it's a huge PITA to order an OEM cluster and send it to Nissan to have the mileage adjusted. I was considering ordering a used cluster and swapping out with the gray NISMO trim pieces but I would like to know if someone can confirm they are actually capable of being removed and swapped out.

You might be able to paint them paint them or find out if they can make you grey overlays.
