Need some advice for a street car build

I’d focus more on the condition of the car versus year. I had a ‘09 and traded for ‘13. No major issues with either, except the ‘13 is a M6

Totally agree about finding one in good condition^ so many of the Z cars I see for sale look like they were modded by a 3 year old. Look for one with regular maintenance and if it does have modifications already, make sure the owner is knowledge about the stuff on the car and that the aftermarket stuff is a reputable brand.

The last thing you want is a modded car with a sh*t ton of issues from crappy parts or poor installations.
