I'd rather have the added rigidity of the 3 point brace and there's gotta be a engineering reason why Nissan included it in the Z34. Mass car manufacturers don't incur such costs for nothing.

I just ordered the new all-weather floor mats for the Z, part number: T99E4-6GP0A
I wanted to see if they fit and they actually do fit nicely. The only problem is, the original floor mat hooks have to be taken out and we don't have the new pins on the carpet for the new floor mats. However, that's not an issue since the floor mats fit perfectly and can't move anywhere. They also have spikes on the bottom to dig into the carpet.
