Just an update. I did call the dealer and they gave me the # for Nissan USA
(1 978 969 8764) and waited a bit. So I redialed and pressed 2 for Spanish, done deal, a second later Mario answered and said that there are no service bulletins for the 370Z or recalls but took my information just in case there was an issue in the future. He created a case number for record and I suggest you take the time to do this, enough people maybe we can make this happen. He also went online and I gave him the site which has the lawsuit posted, good luck and who knows one day I hope I dodn't have to re-visit this topic, PM me if you want to exchange case numbers. :driving:

Faulty Concentric Slave Cylinder - 2019 Base Model

Anyone with a recent model Z34 having any problems with their CSC?

I've contacted the law firm for Mr. Nguyen (Capstone Law Firm) and a member of the firm has indicated that only California residents are qualified to join the class action.

My CSC was replaced at 550(?) miles.

It would whine loudly at about 3200rpm when I revved the engine in neutral.

After they replaced it I had to return to the dealership when the symptoms started up again - then they started giving me the run-around.

Called Nissan Consumer Affairs - seems like all they do is record the telephone conversations and refer you back to the dealer.

I'm at the Better Business Bureau with this now, as the shifting continues to degrade after the original repair. Won't slot into 2nd, grinding 2nd (happened 3 times now), can't downshift into 1st, etc.

Let's just say they award a replacement, who among us would want to ever go back? It's a proven piece of 5h!t.

Nissan are a bunch of bastards for not permanently fixing this

LOL, your issue is not the CSC problem. Get over it. Downshifting to first. Not a manual car I have ever driven likes to be downshifted to first. Sounds like the grinding 2nd is you. You can't force it.

:iagree: Even the Ford Toploader (one of the best 4-speed manual transmissions, IMNSHO) could be difficult to downshift into first without a little clutch/throttle manipulation (DIY rev-matching). The steeper first gear in the 7AT makes downshifting into first almost impossible without double clutching.
