Upgrade suggestions
Hello, I am finding it quite overwhelming with the many upgrade options available for the Z. I'd like some suggestions on good quality exhaust systems that sound a little more aggressive than factory, and wheels for my stock base 2013 White Pearl Z. I daily the car and go on road trips at least twice a year, so not interested in performance mods; just something to keep the Z looking great and running smooth. I may consider to add a low spoiler as well. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Ark, Motordyne, Fast Intentions, GThaus, Tomei
Not in any particular order. Do you research to determine which is right for you. /thread Fyi, I have a GThaus catback (also comes in axle back) it’s quiet when driving normally, but when you mash on the gas, it screams. It is LOUD when wot. But it has a very unique sound. And a low deep tone under 3k rpms. But it is expensive. |

Everyone has different opinion exhaust and wheels. My car has a free flowing 3" exhaust.Would be to loud for some people. Enjoy the car. Mods are like tattoos. You get one and can't stop getting more. |

It's only 1 or 2 mods man...and like all your friends are doing it and they totally don't have a problem at all |

The axle back is $1,500 ish, for the full catback it’s the axle plus the y pipe and midpipe, which are $500-600ish a piece. Mine is now beyond ridiculous as it’s paired with art pipes. |

Read my build thread. It starts off alright. Then it doesn't take long to start going down the rabbit hole. One mod leads to another, which leads to another.

OP, do what you think is right for you, but in reference to the tattoo comment, be tasteful about it. Don’t turn it into a rice mobile.

I have nothing against tattoos, just not my thing. I’ve seen some where it looked good, but others where I was like “wtf?”. To each their own.

Wheels are plentiful - find one you like & these huge wheel wells accept about anything. $$$$ will play a role in this decision  |
Exhaust also depends on how you use your car. Mine is DD, 35 minutes commute. Didn't want extra loud or drone for over an hour per day. New job is 3 miles from home so I'm re-thinking going to a noisy fun sound

funny how we all start somewhere. I made a promise to myself to keep the Z stock as I thought it had everything that a sports car should have. I broke that promise a long time ago and ...I'm happy...:driving:

23 and Me, Ancestry.com. That's the DNA testing to find out who you are related to and where your family roots come from. Split into a tube and mail it in. Costs about $90.00. Can't believe you haven't heard of it. |

My favorite exhaust systems and with out a doubt are Motordyne and Fast Intentions. I have had the stillen and now have FI cat back with the carbon fiber cans and Motordyne ART pipes, but love the Motordyne cat back also

OP keep in mind that a lot of upgraded exhausts do produce some drone in the cockpit at highway speeds (road trips). There are some dynamat threads in here that have proven to be worth the time, tho.
