Doug DeMuro Reviews the 370Z Nismo...and it doesn't go too well

This Douchenozzle lost me when he didn’t know that the “tires” setting in the maintenance menu is for “rotating”, not when you need new tires.

That and the FOB engine start to just hold the FOB, really? Worse than that, those are touchscreens. How could he possibly miss that? You just touch a button on the screen and you'll see they work quite well. Finally, he didn't know about the button caps in the center console are for seat heaters for certain models and also a hatch release.

I never liked his videos tbh, his mannerisms and the way he speaks are just so annoying.

Seemed fairly accurate, and he did enjoy driving it. He definitely has a quirkiness himself that some people don’t find amusing.

I find nothing amusing about pretending to be an expert, when he’s obviously clueless.

And this has nothing to do with his Nismo “review”.

PS: I’m starting to think he “tested” the Auto is because he doesn’t know how to drive a manual.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Just saying...

FYI, he owns a Ford GT (the V8 one), so he knows how to drive manual.

I've always had mixed feelings about Doug and mostly watch his videos to see the cars. He almost always gets things wrong about the cars, i.e. saying that the Nismo had different brakes. That said, I think he was correct on his concerns regarding value for the Nismo. For instance, the new Supra, with everything, will only be $3-7k more than the Nismo and everyone seems to love it so far. I still think there is a case for the 370Z Nismo but every year it gets harder to justify the price for new.

I wonder what people are actually paying for these new. I can't imagine it's much over $42k.

I have no need to justify my purchase to a moron (Dougie Douchebag) that spends half his review going over “gadgets” a car doesn’t have.

I know I said he lost me after not knowing the tire menu meant “rotating” not “replacing” but I started to wonder when he complained about a big analog tach in the middle. I really don’t think he knows how to read one, and is a waste of time! He’s right, you don’t need a tach for an automatic. They should put a small screen to play video games there!

Seriously, the guy is a clown and I’d never watch another of his “reviews” again.

If I want something bright and shiny to distract me, I’ll put up my Christmas Tree.

120k USD here in Netherlands for the regular model, 130k USD for the nismo. Hence nobody buys one..

I feel like the z gets a lot of hate considering it is the only front engine rear wheel drive two seats sports car on the market other than the miata. I don't know that it is fair to compare it to a mustang or a camaro because they are so much larger. The z is definitely dated (interior especially). but for those of us that want an analog sports car there really isn't anything else unless you want the aenimic miata.

Agreed... that's the only complaint I have on the Z. No telescoping steering column.

Nissan's willingness to piss on the Z brand and neglect it so much is also irritating. But I have my Z so it's not something that affects me any longer.
