Looks like a repaint to me. But, as others have said, it is not uncommon for the front cover to get resprayed. Unless you find evidence of other repairs, it's

Looks like a repaint to me. But, as others have said, it is not uncommon for the front cover to get resprayed. Unless you find evidence of other repairs, it's not worth losing sleep over. Drive and enjoy.
