The across the road car's insurance company would say "no contact no accident" for him. They will claim it is your responsibility to have full control of your car as there was plenty of distance to react prudently as the video does indeed show.

However the Eclipse guy did make contact with your 370Z.....the across the road car isn't of any consideration from a legal standpoint. So this is entirely between you and the Eclipse.

That's sad...
Hopefully everything is going to be OK. What what was wrong with the Eclipse guy!? He was trying to reach your radio or something? Probably he was doing something else w/o looking forward.
At least, you have the proof on your side.
How big was the damage to the Z?

As Ak said, What camera do you have on the dash. Any link to the product?

Wow if the speed readout from the cam is correct, you didn't even stop that hard and he still hit you...

I'm glad I don't drive as much anymore...

It must be the Z emblem in the back. It's hynotizing. When I see one on the freeway i can't take my eyes off it. Maybe that's what happened to the Eclipse driver.

"Smart Car Black Box" Google it and u can see it. M kinda disappointed its FISH EYE cam. More angle but can not see license plate until u hit him.

Actually he was trying to get out and I told him to stay in the car. If we get out of the cars and more of him come by .... not a good idea.
