![]() ![]() What causes the negative spike at the end of each pulse? Motor inductance? Edit: Watched a few more of your vids and was impressed. For the K&N vs OEM air filter test, I would like to have seen another run with the OEM filter - this would show if engine internals (and other parts in the engine bay) warming had any effect. Going by fuel/oil/water temp data, the effect should be minimal but a third run with the OEM filter would "prove" it.

I am planning to go back to a different dyno and re-test. This time with a new Infiniti filter, used K&N, freshly cleaned K&N and NO air filter. Plus I will be data logging the air pressure just after the filter with an Arduino Uno clone and differential +/- 10KPa Honeywell pressure sensor, writing to a SD card. AND using an other Arduino, data log the differential oil temps and trans oil temps on the 6 speed manual. As you may of guessed, I do like my data ![]() |
