If you're only cracking the door open a bit, you might be confusing the computer. I've had that happen on the rare occasions that I just crack my door open

I've had that happen on the rare occasions that I just crack my door open slightly. It seems the computer controlling the window can't figure out whether I'm about to continue to open or close the door, so it goes up and down ever so slightly, about the same amount it would when opened so that air can escape the cabin when it closes.
