Oil prices are starting to rise.I live in a state where a lot of your oil comes from.
When oil was over $120 a barrel there was no reason for price.Glut of oil on market.
Price dropped to $40.00 a barrel.Price can be influenced by opec.US refiners where loosing money at that price. They will keep refining. Cost to close plant and start up again is to high. I think about $72.00 a barrel would be a stable market.Your gas prices would be about where they are now after this last rise in price.

That and the Canadian dollar was trading at roughly 72 cents US last week. Doesn't help.

OP should try one of my trucks. A '77 ford with dual OEM tanks - about 40 gallons, or my diesel Ram with a 34 gallon tank...and diesel costs more. When prices were up a few years back I remember a few $120 fillups in the Ram. Those hurt.

Chevron with Techron, although Chevron offers their additive in every grade, whereas Shell only offers Nitro in their premium grade.

California I think 91 is up to $3.90 a gallon and e85 is $2.75 a gallon. I get a decent amount of mileage out of a full tank in the Z on 91 depending on how I drive but I only get about 75 miles on a full tank of e85 on my Supra.

Wow, California gas tops Oahu prices. Just paid $3.30 a gallon for 92 at Costco here, however at most regular retail stations, it would cost about $3.70.

I don't give a rip about fuel prices. I pay for SMILES per gallon, not miles per gallon.
