Added benefit from HFC's...

3 MPG more than what I had prior to installation, first time I actually took the time to test it, Temp was 39, cruising from Las Cruces, NM to El Paso, TX. And with an SES light to boot! 32mpg... 370Z: EconoSport.

was that 32 by doing the math or just by the on board computer..........?

:twocents:

My on board computer reads 19.9 at best! My best hand calculation was 20.3 also, how are you guys getting that kind of mileage?

21.4 overall with the 7AT and Im kinda of a heavy foot driver but when not trying to beat everyone the AT keeps rpms down and gets good MPG.

On board computer, I wanted to do a comparo with its reading before and after HFC's, the before average at the same speed and distance traveled was 29.1, using the onboard computer with practically the same variables equated to a gain of 3 mpg, not bad.

Yeah I do have a lead foot myself, was happy with the 20 I got though...

Found out later on it was measured in L/100kms.. FML lol

I find the computer to be accurate. Very very close to manual computation.

This thread is timely...been thinking about getting the HFC for Xmas.

30+ mpg? Are you driving at 60mph?

On the highway between El Paso and Las Cruces, the speed limit is 75, after a recent ticket scare, I stayed at 75 the whole way, I didnt take the picture until after I was parked at my apartment. The MPG stayed pinned at 31.8 the whole way, I was amazed. Get the HFC's, you wont regret it.

If you are doing that quite often, then I can see your fuel economy suffering. If you are on the high way for a good time without having to slow down and accelerate alot, then you should be ok with some occasional "spirited" RPM shifting :driving:

I get 14mpg to and from work these days because it's 25F outside and my engine never fully warms up.
