OP how the hell do you get 30mpg period, lemme guess cruise control, all highway, flat land the whole way.

Constant speed, flat highway, yep cruise control, cool temps, light traffic, pretty much all fell into place on that fateful day. When I drove to Ohio from Texas a few months back, my average for the entire trip was 22mpg, to include city driving, I dont drive like a grandma either, but I try to stay in a high gear when possible.

Will it really get 28+ mpg if it gets turned on and goes immediately in 20 degree weather?

This engine warms up pretty fast. Aluminum is a wonderful thing. I'd say it only takes a mile or two to be burning fuel efficiently, unless it's colder than a rat's a$$ outside. Easy for me to say though, I have a garage. :icon14:

I drove from St. Louis Illinois to Elizabethtown Kentucy using only a half tank of gas. I am not sure how I managed that but it shocked the **** out of me.
