I would say the loop makes the exhaust more quiet as it provides some restriction and breaks up frequencies and stops drone. The Nismo has less turns, less restrictions so its a little louder. The aftermarket CBEs dont really have any sharp bends so thats one reason they are louder and get the drone but more power.

I guess what I'm saying is that "why" is it drawn with a loop, when there probably isn't a reason for it - it's not like the exhaust is designed that differently from the crossover pipe back.

Stillen sounds so much deeper than Nismo..on video anyways! But I think I'll stick with getting the Fast Intentions and take off my Stillen HFC's

It is your old car I agree, but you did mention the ducts were functional, I just wanted an elaboration that's all, I'm sure many other members would be interested in hearing that too. Function > Form anyday
