The aftermarket CBEs dont really have any sharp bends so thats one reason they are louder and get the drone but more power.

I guess what I'm saying is that "why" is it drawn with a loop, when there probably isn't a reason for it - it's not like the exhaust is designed that differently from the crossover pipe back.

Have People made a comment that this is not a 370Z exhaust? the Z it is not a 2 into one exhaust from the front cats.. i don't know if this was pointed out and the reason the og post with pic is missing..

Great comments, I agree 100%.

The fact that many of us can afford much more and opt for the Z means something. I really like the fact that we all go our own ways to build our own personal car and share the stories.

Having fun so far...now onto the next project :ughdance:

man what is going on in this thread. I don't even know what to do. May have something to do with completely skipping a few pages (thats 1 page for non noobs who know to add more posts per page in the configuration settings so that threads are easier to read).

Over 40 Z owner

I too am one of those Z drivers who happens to be over 40. Although my Z was even less than $35,000.00, I purchased it because I liked it and could afford it. The difference with a person who happens to be over 40, is that we do not have to try to impress others with the wheels we drive (we buy because we can afford to own) and not to impress others.

I own several vehicles which includes classics as well as collectors and have found the Z to be a very nice car. If the poster does their research, they'll find that most sports cars are owned by older well established individuals who does not have to utilize them as their primary transportation. I too have brought products from Pep Boys, Walmart and any other discount retailer (I love a bargain), just like the Z is a bargain.

If you are wanting me to impress you, Follow me to the bank.

SilverBullet 12-29-2009 12:56 PM

You won't get that much hp out of turbonators. You need to chip it as well.

vipor 12-29-2009 12:57 PM

damn i dont know where to find that chip that i saw before. it was like 12$ or something, but i think i can find some cans to sell....

SilverBullet 12-29-2009 12:58 PM

There is one for $60. You get 50hp and 50tq.

:iagree:

Now this knida makes all things come together. Some people here say the Z is the best bang for the buck when they compare the car to other higher priced cars that are just as fast but might have better interiors (for example), and now some down you for shopping at places that cost less for the same quality. Hmmmmmm......

vipor 12-29-2009 01:50 PM

hahahah awesome 2ex

2theextreme 12-29-2009 01:51 PM

Heck....I'll be 41 in a few months (GASP! Reality just set in when I typed that!) and I've purchased from AutoZone......does that make me a poopyhead, too?

vipor 12-29-2009 01:54 PM

as long as you aren't buying curb-feelers or sprayer lights there's nothing wrong with O'Reilly or AutoZone or PepBoys

Zsteve 12-29-2009 01:55 PM

No poopyhead is for the Pep Boys, Sh!tHead is for the Auto Zone peeps. But I get my stuff from Auto Zone as they are 1/2 mile from my house.

I don't have a problem with having to go buy parts of even Wax at a Pep Boys or other local Auto Parts store. I hope you don't spend All your Money at the Dealership or Your friend the Mechanic. I think you need to realize that their are Z Lovers of all ages and, Calling some of us Pathenic is not very grown up or Lady like! I believe if some guys here made general woman negative comments or started bashing women that to you wouldn't find it amusing. strong comments like these sometimes lead to Flaming I don't care for it. I would advise better thought in generalizing people. :tiphat:

I'm not bashing anybody..don't take that post the wrong way. Just making a small remark after someone stating that only a child would do the porthole thing to a new car ( which sounds like a comment that an older person would make). I really don't care if people bash on me becuz the 350z was the 1st car I started to mod (if you can really call it that) and I was still learning. I know what it takes now to make a car look good and not so chincey. But...if I offended anyone with that earlier remark, I apologize. I don't discriminate... nor am I on here to piss people off! ;)
