Just drive the Z more and enjoy it. If it just sits there yeah you're going to think it's time to sell it. I own a Jeep and a Z and drive both equal amounts. I put about 6k per year on each car and love driving both. This way both cars have low mileage and I have the utility of Jeep and sportiness of the Z. Can't beat it.

As for not driving your Z. I have for DD's. A Honda VFR motorcycle, Ram Power Wagon, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a Class A 41ft motorhome, plus the Z. The VFR, and the Z fit in the garage. The motorhome gets the most mileage per year. The VFR and the Z the least. And I have no interest in selling the VFR or the Z. The motorhome I would sell in a heart beat if the price was there.

There is nothing wrong with the Z. It's just I only have two parking spaces and I already have 3 cars I need to keep. The Z is a 4th car that will take up space in the garage for no reason other than a few track days, which I haven't even been able to go much. It's a tough one, but I made it to keep it for now and will look to do something later.

When considering to sell or keep an item this philosophy generally helps with most anything in life.
If you had $16,000 and did not currently own the 370Z; Would you buy it right now for $16,000 or keep the money? If you would not buy it, sell it. If you would buy it, keep it. I hope that helps. |
