So far all the major loss of control accidents have happened with VDC off, I keep it turned on for the highway at least because you never know what is going to happen. If I was letting someone else drive I would definitely make sure it was turned on (and I wouldn't show them how to turn it off, even though it's pretty obvious).

yea sucks.. the car is still getting fixed now my dad is worried the car is to much for me...its just a big mess
