BTW: Does anyone know of a clip unhooking tool specific for cars? Basically some a plyer set specific for unclipping electrical clips - kind of one of those "nice to have" tools... What do the stealerships use? While I don't "mind" using a flat head at times - some of them require brute force leading to broken clips/fingers... Luckily these lights were cooperative...

Look for “electrical disconnect plyer”. I recently was on a mission looking for one, finallly got to the keywords that yield decent results.

Now the car REALLY needs spacers and lowering... Just trying to avoid money pit status ("recovering" :rofl2: WRX owner so...sure you can understand...Z ownership has been financial "therapy" in comparison...)

LOL I saw these pictures on Amazon when i went to look for some clearcoat for my upcoming project to re-finish my Top Secret lip.

I used to own a WRX (2016 6MT). It was alright but you can easily tell the quality difference between that and the Z.

Yeah I understand the quality has vastly improved since 2007 in the subaru world... but...

ERA paints did well for me so I figured I'd give 'em a positive review. Get yourself a solid 3m mask and goggles - the clear is super toxic and it's like a cloud when you go to spray!!

What did you do with your Z today V (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Started mocking up some ducting to the intercooler. The front crash bar blocks ~30% of the intercooler surface area though. I’m thinking of drilling some holes in it to get some airflow through. Anyone else do this? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...51f66869c3.jpg

I took a stab at re-clearing the carbon lip. it's old and beat up, but the fact that its Top Secret meant it is worth the effort of making it look better. I'll cut and polish tomorrow with a 1step and see if it's halfway decent. I didn't want to spend too much time on it.

I need to re-adjust the rear sway bar endlinks, get some new rear summer tires + alignment, and change the gear oil. all in due time i guess.

I would like to do this because i cannot find the OEM part number for the plastic guides on either side of the crash bar. Unless someone knows that part number...

Noop, never had a need too.

Tires arrived today. I have some days scheduled for a road-force tire balance and an alignment to take some camber out. I'm still runing a "track biased" setup and it's no bueno for wet traction on a poorly draining highway.

I let a friend know about the deal and he was able to get a full set for his 1LE Camaro.

For the first time since the installation of carbon fenders, I took pictures of my Z.
I'm glad to see the fitment of the nismo fenders flare with the carbon fenders doesn't look off, it looks awesome and gives an even wider feel to the fenders.

Thinking about some MX72 pads from RHDJapan. The Yen is so weak, even with more expensive shipping fee, final cost is much cheaper than I’ve seen from US based vendor.

And good coilovers like Aragosta Type S and Ohlins DFV are sub $2k.

The weak Yen has me going crazy with my Kawasaki lol. I have a Yamamoto exhaust being made right now.
