They had one up on a pedestal at the car show this past weekend. Couldn't look inside the car at all but the outside was the same old boring 4-door Taurus look.

When you see that sticker that might change things....the one I saw was listed at 43,000! Rediculous for a car that historically has one of the worse resale values out there.

Kia Soul exciting... only if I was bulimic and desired to vomit on myself.

Here is a huge problem with the Genesis Coupe. The Genesis sedan is FASTER. Imagine if the Maxima was faster than the Z. Ridiculous.

Unless they drop the V8 into the coupe. Then it's the Z you'll be seeing in the rear view mirror!

It'll be battleship heavy and we'll pass them in the twisties! Second thought, our Z with GT-R engine can take that V8

Wink

I don't think this exciting rating was based on performance. I think it was based more as a company bringing forth the most change. Who made the biggest statements.
The genesis coupe historically is one of the best first attempts at a sports car. Its not better than a Z. What makes it exciting is that hyundai went from no comp to serious comp in the 20k-30k range and then giving cars in the 30k-40k range a bit of a run as well.
The kia soul is an excellent value. Its a novelty vehicle that offers a lot of features young 1st car buyers want at an exceptional price.
The taurus... lol I dunno. But what I can say about the taurus. It is a high quality materials and stuff compared to other past fords. I just think the price is a joke and the car is a terrible value though its a nice attempt at making a quality car.
I think that's where they were going with this. If it was about performance. It would be a totally different list

I've never seen a hamster driving a Z, so maybe they are right!
