Who cares who wins in a straight line.

Real cars go around turns, long straights are for planes to take off.

Agreed (bc I am a pilot.)

I love the Camaro; it looks great, has a ton of power, and the interior's not bad. However, it weighs too much, the tires are too skinny, the body rolls a lot, and it won't be nearly as fun as the Z will be.

While I cannot make any statements of fact, I would imagine 99% of the Camaro board has never been on a road course. Once you've tracked a proper sports car, there's no going back to straightline BSing. I never got the thrill of stumping on the gas for a few seconds and calling it quits (perhaps I just don't properly understand it). There is just so much more to driving.

Mark

PS: I have only been considering two cars for my upcoming purchase SS or Z: just conversing on that board has made my mind up for me (forgetting I'm more of a two seat sports car person anyway); its Z all the way.
