Bad luck, sorry about that. I'm at 46k miles and not a single issue yet *knocks on wood* better luck next time

Sounds like some PITA minor issues. I say minor because relative to major issues like say valve train failure or connecting rod clearance issues that tear your engine apart. This can be found on the Corvette C6 Z06 and the bearing clearance issues on the S65 M3. Now that is POS. Buy a new one most of us have zero issues....for pete sakes it a Japanese build...
He has 70k, trade up time, get a newer Z....
Please don't go from a Z to a girly Miata....

Agreed^ Plus looks this car is one seriously hot looking car.......he will never be able to match it...

He will probably list some Euro trash, money pit, break down night mares....:icon17:

Compared to a new Z, a brand new Camaro is a way better deal imo. The camaro isn't unreliable like some German cars, it's way faster in a straight line and also turns! What else would anyone want?

I agree with you on the looks, the Z is super sexy. It is a 10+ smoking hot bombshell on wheels.
However, looks are subjective and one opinion may differ from another.

:rolleyes:The Camaro SS and ZL1 are not comparable. Fast in a straight line, yes. Try driving that big, heavy a$$ Camaro a twisty road, the HP advantage is lost.
Bang for the buck, still goes to a Z. I could've picked up the Camaro and opted for a Z. The Z is a drivers car, the Camaro is a loud, brutish poser. Next... oh yeah Mooostang ecobust or ecoboost, don't think so :shakes head:
Next...

Agreed, the Camaro and Mustang are muscle cars and are a dime a dozen. Honestly, they are big, ugly and boring...:shakes head:

Looks may be subjective but anyone who thinks a mustang or a camaro looks better than a Z is... :supergay:

it's all subjective, so listing won't do you any good. I'm not here for a debate.
but when dealerships are selling z's upwards of 60k and you can buy a low mileage nismo or a one even already built TT for around 30k I can't justify spending that much for one.

but I do agree, the z has a unique look that can't be replicated.

Z370Z011 05-06-2017 12:12 AM

I spent 2 hours at the dealership trying to make the car NOT turn on and of course it turned on every single time.... the one time it's supposed to fail it suddenly behaves!!!!!!! I'm so glad I took a video of it because the dealership kept saying it was ok until I showed them the video of it not turning on. Dam car is ruining my life lol.

Yea, I didnt catch you "new" comment ..my bad...buying any car new is a horrible idea and I agree there are better cars that you can buy used instead of a new Z. Like a used Z....

It's mission impossible, is it? I knew you couldn't list one, let alone multiple cars. No worries, no need to debate or bicker. No car is perfect or immune from quality, build, mechanical or electrical issues including much higher priced exotics. Overall, the Z is a very good platform. It has proven itself overtime and will continue to put smiles on peoples faces for many years. BTW, where did you come up with the $60k figure for a Z? Did it have a Rolex in the glove compartment? :excited:
