I don't really see a problem with Nissan releasing this "Heritage edition", as long as it's not priced that much higher than the base 370Z? It sounds like you may get a better clutch than the notoriously troublesome one they've included up till now? And the yellow color and stickers may or may not be your thing, but at least it's a new option. Just by the fact it'll probably be available for 1 year only, it means it could have some collector value down the road.
I think it's pretty clear by now that Nissan is nearing the end of the road for selling the 370Z as we know it. It makes sense to offer it in some kind of limited edition trim as a way to close out the line, for people who still want to buy one before it goes away or gets a radical redesign. Quote:
