I believe the 370Z will nix this, I saw a dude valet park his 2003/04 350Z and get out like it was a Lambo over the summer, all I could do was laugh but I guess he was cooler than me with his Chanel "CC" earrings
Was it a 2003.5?

By the way, I saw a very hot blonde driving a 350 roadster yesterday. Not a guido in sight.

Take it from someone who lives in South Jersey (North Jersey... pffft) that more dbags drive BMW's than pretty much every car, I've noticed. Specifically guido dbags, but whatever.

Also I don't drive a 370 (yet!) but I have had many people mistake my car for a G6 which while I can sort of understand... I really can't, heh. The angles are completely different.

I personally don't mind, a big reason why I got the Z is due to the fact that it probably won't be "well known" for awhile. I like the unique feel, everyone around here drives BMW's especially those 335i's

ah come on. this is a storm in a teacup. mostly by morons who don't know how to adjust a floormat properly. i'd rather take a crappy floormat than a fuel pump that fails and strands me in the middle of nowhere (335i/135i) or an engine that leaks oil out of every orifice in its block (boxster/cayman/996 carrera), or repeated failure of expensive electronic components (bmw, mercedes, almost all german cars) or downright unreliable junk (land rover)

I agree, even my "car guy" friends don't know much (or any about the 370z). I have to explain that it's under $30k runs 13.3s, lower, wider, shorter, lighter etc.

Also I have only seen ONE 370z on the road. I'm in grad school at U of Illinois, so the combination of not driving too much (I have a well recognized RSX-S with 11k into it) and not being in a particularly urban area can explain some of the rarity.

Actually, I correct myself. I did see more 370's, BUT that was this summer in Japan. I also saw a heavily modified black R34 parked in front of Tokyo Tower, but that's a whole other story

Not a huge deal, only a few people know I drive a 370z. Most everyone else thinks it is a 350z, and while I try to stay away from being a "douche 350z" owner (and yes there are some great 350z owners who I have met), it is tough. Though if anyone usually asks about it, and says 350z I will politely say it is a 370z, but then another 20 questions come out since it is something new.

Same here, I do enjoy sometimes I am at a light and see people point at it with a "WTF?" look on their face.

I was leaving a mates house yesterday and one of the neighbours stopped me and said how much he liked it. It's still new here in Oz and not everyone has caught onto it. They always say. "Is that the new 350?"
