OPs question reminded me of something that happened to me. A couple of times (once my brother, once me driving his car) we forgot to turn off the traction control.
His BP turbo creates enough power (as would any other turbo'd zi assume) to overcome the factory traction control, at least until the car enabled limp mode, and left the car powerless. Not an issue now with the ecutek tune, but it was scary as hell. Immediate thought is "the motor just "·$% the bed!"
