Apparently. The designation SS make it so. Sadly the whole idea of what makes a sports car is unclear for many.

But that anemic 305 with a whopping 180 hp. Yuck.

My father had the same motor in his '89 Caprice. He tried hopping it up with a cam, full exhaust, headers, K&N filter with a dual snorkel air cleaner assembly, and a Jet performance chip. It helped some, but by no means a speed demon. He ended up trading it in a little later on an '89 Mustang LX 5.0.

2016 BRAND NEW 7AT Sport and Tech package for 24.7K

So I might have been stretching it saying there are lots of 2016s, but there ARE lots of 2015s in that range, and if you can go without touring, this one here ^

When I was looking in late June there were at-least 10 different ones with the three packages and 2015+ for that price range. I ultimately with with Porsche instead though :hello: Looking currently here are some comparable cars from a 10 minute search.

2014 S/T/T with 1k miles for 28.5k

2014 S/T Amuse with 15k miles for 28k

Certified 2015 6k miles S/T for 28.9K

2015 certified s/t 6.3k miles for 28.9k

2015 S/T 2.9k miles for 28.5k

2015 certified s/t 6.8k miles for 26.9K

2015 s/t 3.4k miles for 25k

I am 3-6k lower than all of those...

Because its discontinued and its a great car(nothing quite like it on the market) and they didn't make that many. But only the AP2s hold their value unless you have an AP1 that has low miles and has been garaged all its life. Maybe if they discontinue the Z it will have the same affect on our cars since they didn't make that many 370z's, compared to the 350z of course. It would kind of be like AP2(370z) vs AP1(350z) in resell value. But this is all just wishful thinking of course.

They are not the same price in my state. Honestly apples to oranges. This **** got tiring real fast. A lot of those cars either had higher miles, a newer year or no leather or MODZ, or no nav.

Apples to oranges all day long. I was the lowest mile cleanest 370z at the best price. And that's why it is now gone.

You're the one who asked

I think being at close to 50% of MSRP [$25k is no where close to 50% of msrp btw]after 6500 miles would win some ppl over but nope.

Let me know your thoughts guys...
So I offered you a legitimate reason, which you didn't even attempt to look into. You challenged my statement, which I then supported with evidence. Every single link has NAV, and no **** they were a newer year.. that's what I said to start with.

And now you're butt-hurt because someone was trying to help you? :ugh2:

Once the redesigned Z with steer-by-wire comes out, used Z's will be in high demand.

Yeah its soft. No one's buying the Z now that the hype has worn off and Mustangs and Camaros have been redesigned in the last couple of years. If you look at the new dealer inventory for the Z, there's a ton of them. But even the Mustang and Camaro are seeing sales drop.

I bought the Z at the right time for me since I its a second car and I plan on keeping it for 10 years. I don't think it will survive in sports car form for the next iteration. I'm convinced Nissan will go Gripz on the next Z and to be honest, its a smart move if they want to keep the Z nameplate alive. The SUV market in all forms - small, crossover, luxury is red hot right now and from a business standpoint if I were developing a car for 5 years of projected future sales I would be looking at the SUV market not the sports car one. Toyota will find this out with the Supra.

Heck, I'd probably buy the Gripz when my daily driver is due for replacement.
