Default Stoplights...what stoplights?

Hi

Just got back from sitting in a new 370Z. Wow. Nice looking little coupe. The interior is very nicely done. The car I sat in was an auto with leather. (only one my dealer has so far)

At 6'1", I felt a bit claustrophobic, but not overwhelmingly tight. The right side blind spot is massive...along that line...if you are the first car at the stoplight you will have to lean all the way forward (big fellas) to look up to see when the lights change...one less hamburger for me. My 300ZX's see through T-tops will be greatly missed.

Man, this Z has got me excited but I wish Nissan would allow for a Targa roof or something similar (not a vert.) There was a new Maxima sitting next to the new Z car, it had a dual sunroof/moonroof...come on Nissan give us the option.

My dealer is going to call me when the 6 speed manual is ready for a test drive...can't wait!

Regards,

John

Drove mine home tonight and agree with the HUGE blind spot. A rear view camera would be much appreciated when backing out of a parking spot.

That's pretty scary. Drivers tend to drive next to me where ever I go regardless of speed. How bad is it compared to the 350Z?

I am 6 -6'1 and I dont find my 350 tight inside at all. I usually slide my seat back all the way and recline it all the way. Yeah I know it looks like a gangster lean but hey as long as I dont feel crammed who cares

+1 to the blind spots. My 350 has them EVERYWHERE. At times I have to stick my head out the window to see people crack on me at times for that

+1 on the targa also. Dunno why Nissan hasnt thought of it yet. IMO it would be a huge hit.

^ is that optional from the factory?

I had a hell of a time backing out of parking spots when I had limo tint on my 350Z.

Can't say vs 350Z...but it will warrant a fisheye for the right mirror to be sure...esp. if you are set (or is that sit...lol) back in the cockpit. I am used to a blind spot but this is a biggin'...adaptable as humans are, I shall endeavour to find solutions for this problem.

I never trust my mirrors. I ALWAYS look over my shoulder to be sure.

When are we getting the factory back up cam? Most other cars with Nav have it built in at this point. It would be nice to have.
