positioning shift knob..

The blue threadlocker is "medium strength removable". Loctite Threadlocker Colors. Yep I am going to go buy the loctite now. It just bothers me how some people get to align it right and for some reason mine doesn't

I saw from a previous thread that you can use a couple of 3/8" x 1 1/4 Neoprene washers from lowes/home depot for about $0.50. That way you can still easily remove your shift knob to show off to your buddies or whatnot. Loctite would be a hassle to take remove in the future.

I used it to align the turtle on my Tommy Kaira shift knob. It gives you room to play with to make sure it is exactly where you want it while still keeping the knob on tight.

i already bought the threadlocker

it just doesnt make sense to me how others can allign it easily but i cant lol

The Locktite will do a good job (unless you get real rough with your shifting).

To position knob without Locktite:
1) Thread jam nut onto shaft until it bottoms out
2) Thread knob onto shaft until it hits the jam nut or bottoms out
3) Unscrew knob until it is in correct position
4) Tighten jam nut against bottom of knob
