Don't go to the dealership for oil drain plug washer

You don't - you replace the drain plug with one of these:

I hope it doesn't break off should the car ever bottom out or if a piece of rock or road debris passes underneath...

Fomoto Valves are great, they are held in by a little spring and a ball stop valve basically. I just don't trust it, I work with WAY to many valves and seen them all fail. Its just to much of a chance for me.
