Default Extended Warranty offers..

Ever sine I purchased my used 2014 370z sports package (now has 12,100 miles) a month ago, I have been getting notices to "extend" my Vehicle Service Contract. Today, a "discount of $200" was offered. They claim I am eligible for a "platinum" plan. It says it's extremely urgent that I contact them.

I have never had one, never needed one. I will probably trade the car in a couple of years when it has 50k miles. I ran a Honda Prelude to 156k miles about 15 years ago and never needed one.

I don't "race" my car though I do drive at high speeds on the highway but the RPM's are still low in the AT.

Do I need an extended warranty? If yes, I probably can wait till the 3 year warranty expires, right? How much do these things cost?

It all depends who is offering it and what it actually cover...most mods also can void warranty...personally I passed on it was offered it for 1800

Unless it covers the CSC, probably not worth it for you. YMMV
