I wouldn't do it that way. There are numerous other aspects of a crash that might not be accounted for in such a position.
Your car has an 80-lb occupancy sensor for the passenger seat. The cradle/frame for rear-facing child seat straddles the sensor and the airbag is designed to turn off without an occupant meeting the weight requirement. |
