Most reputable tint shops give you a lifetime warranty, so if there's ever a problem they'll fix it.

With a proper install they should be fine for the life of the car. And lifetime warranty should be standard.

Even if you don't use the windows, the very nature of the doors on the Z going up/down everytime the door is closed/opened likely will quickly determine whether it was a proper install.

No choice on this car it rolls a little when U open the door.
But be advised the gradient dots are difficult to tint right. I ended up not tinting my z.

Rolling the windows up / down is only an issue in the first ~48 hours after tinting. Afterwards you won't damage it.

Coming up on a year with my tint and no issues whatsoever. My installer put a piece of tape over my window controls so I would remember not to roll them down during the first 2 days.

Mine's coming up on the passenger lower corner since Lou Fusz's tint/clear bra guy (also owned by Fusz) does **** work. And their lifetime warranty expired when I crossed the state line. Luckily my guy here can fix it for cheap.

I've heard black widows can be dangerous.

103,000 miles. Tint for 6 years. No issues at all.
I roll my windows down to spit.

ive used the 3m colorstable tint, its non metallic and has a lifetime color fade proof warranty. I like it. Sometimes, depending on the car, dirt and grime and get onto the rollers if applicable on the guide track and if its guiding the window up and down can mar the tint. It never happened to me but i've seen pictures of instances where it has.

Even good, reputable shops sometimes aren't aware of a special issue with the Z driver and passenger side windows; near the front of the door, there's something just inside the door below the bottom of a rolled up window that causes tint that's not cut short enough to start to peel up after about six months.

Most shops will repair that for free, but it's best to warn them before installation so it doesn't happen in the first place.
